Aerobatic Flight Training in the Extra 300L - Prep for Competition Flying. The Longest Episode ever published, but definitely one of the BEST!
We join our Flight Chops Experience winner Hannah and visit Luke in Winnipeg, Canada. I’m working toward the Sportsman known Aerobatic Contest Sequence in the Extra 300L, while Dave is working to get his solo checkout, and Hannah is here to have her mind blown as a new PPL with no tail wheel time, yet.

Flight Chops Disclaimer

I am a “weekend warrior” private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience – I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve…. Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share.

Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.

  • Thanks so much for doing this. We live pretty close to Harv’s air and have seen Luke practise first hand. But still so appreciate the perspective you brought on your opportunity to train with him. Also the highlights of Winnipeg and what it has to offer was really well done. Thanks so much and hope you come back for more.
P.S The videographer that was hanging around was our “Uncle Gil” He has done tons to bring our family into the aviation community.
