I’m on a solo cross country in an older PA28 with constant speed prop.
(most of my time is in newer fuel injected planes with fixed pitch props)
A few small mistakes that go unnoticed, can lead to a tragedy!
This video follows along as I am less than perfect with my check list usage, and fail to recognize that a potential accident chain is forming.
I need to be more vigilant in recognizing and breaking the pattern when it starts to happen.
I get away with it in this case, but the lesson is not lost on me.
It also doesn’t help that I am relatively low time with Pipers and constant speed props in general.
