THE WINNERS IS

Elias Treger!

Here’s what Elias had to say:

Hello, My name is Elias Treger! I am an 18 year old college student originally from San Diego but now at the University of North Dakota located in Grand Forks and on tract to follow the commercial aviation degree program. I currently have 67 hours and have been preforming flight training since 2015. If there was one message I would want to convey to everyone is “Share the world you love with others because they might love it too.” this is because one of my favorite things is to see others fall in love with aviation as I do.

Again thank you so much for not only this opportunity but the impact Vans, Flight chops and everyone else makes. You guys (and girls) really are the best part of aviation.

Glowing Regards,

Elias M. Treger

Huge congrats to Elias!  And big thanks to Sean at Bose Aviation for making this possible ?

Flight Chops Disclaimer

I am a “weekend warrior” private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience – I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve…. Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share.

Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.

  • Hey Steve; so glad you picked the Vans RV-14. It’s the plane I would have chosen. As a child my father built an experimental “Mong Sport” biplane in the 1960’s. I still remember the day it came out of the basement and went to his job at Field Aviation for final assembly. Best of Luck on your build. It’s just about the coolest thing a man can do.
