In this episode of Flight Chops, we are pushing the new Flight Chops Van’s Aircraft RV-14 through the paces of final Flight Testing while also being mindful of the ongoing break-in of the Lycoming Thunderbolt engine. Around hour 10, we’re preparing to test and document the flight envelope of the RV-14 which consists of a controlled climb at max gross weight and assessing stall characteristics.
Thanks to Elliot for the mentorship through this stage.
He’s got tons of great test flight related content on his channel, and this video does a deep dive into Stall Testing!
