In this episode, I’m building solo time reviewing the #SuperPatriot, the latest #STOL #SuperCub variant on the market.

We documented an anomaly with Tail Flutter during full power static take offs, which raised a lot of alarm bells in the comments of the previous episode – so we’re doing a deep dive to investigate it further.

Dave and I had a lot of fun and both of us became quite comfortable flying this airplane during the course of the month that I had it at home. Over this and the next episodes we’ll share more detailed thoughts and opinions of the handling characteristics, maneuverability and speed range envelope afforded by the Super Patriot STOL Cub-Variant.

Flight Chops Disclaimer

I am a “weekend warrior” private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience – I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve…. Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share.

Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.
